Just as Jesus welcomed and blessed the children in the Gospels (Mark 10:13-16 & Luke18:15-18), this ministry promotes and fulfills a very important mission of our community, that is to transfer our cultural and religious heritage to our children by words and examples. Opportunities are always given for the children to have their liturgy of theword during our monthly Mass in which they are taught by the directors and othervolunteers to learn prayers and songs.The children lead the community during the prayers of the faithful during Mass. Most of these prayers are said in Igbo to help the kids to learn the Igbo language. The children have their cultural dance which they usually perform during community events and when invited by others outside the community. The community dedicates so much time in this ministry thereby being mindful that success without the successor is fruitless.
